Much of our leafy greens are grown on farms using organic methods and are undergoing organic certification. All of our other produce are from hydropnic farms or farms that are certified global gap and viet gap.
While the organic industry is steadily growing, there is there is very little produce that is truly certified organic, and the number of items are very few. For example, there are no organic fruits currently being grown in Vietnam.
Some independent farmers grow fruits and vegetables responsibly without the use of pesticides, but this does not make it organic. Organic also encompasses standards for processing, warehouse storage, cold chain, and soil that has not been previously grown with pesticides for 7 years.
In short, the farming industry in Vietnam is not there yet. We are continually, searching for better and higher quality ingredients, so as the industry develops you will see more and more organic in our products.
